I have extensive experience in the production, distribution, and assembly of prefabricated corrugated steel parts for civil engineering structures in road construction, civil engineering and industry.

After successfully completing my engineering degree in forming technology and metallurgy at the University of Duisburg in 1996, I began my professional career at our internationally active family business, Hamco Dinslaken Bausysteme GmbH, based in Dinslaken (Germany). The company began producing and distributing prebaricated corrugated steel parts for bridges and culverts already in 1956.

I have acquired my in-depth knowledge of the metalworking industry, combined with a high degree of practical experience and entrepreneurial responsibility, over many decades at Hamco - starting as a production and assembly worker during every school and semester break from the late 1980s, through my role as a shareholder (from 1991) to the Managing Director of our family business (from 2000).

After the ViaCon Group took over the operational business of our family company Hamco Dinslaken Bausysteme GmbH and the assembly company HaKu Service GmbH in 2021, I took on the positions of Managing Director and Senior Business Unit Director “Bridges and Culverts” at ViaCon Hamco GmbH, as well as Managing Director of HaKu Service GmbH.

In 2022, I took on the role of Technical Business Development Director for Western Europe within the ViaCon Group, focusing on strategic market development, technology positioning, and international cooperation.

In mid-2025, I made the conscious decision to leave the ViaCon Group on January 31, 2026, in order to pursue new entrepreneurial paths.

New start-up: HamCore
With HamCore, I am founding an independent company with consulting and marketing components. Here, I am pooling my decades of experience in technology, management, market development, networking, and customer relations and making it available to interested companies.

Personal
I have been married since 1997 and am the father of three daughters. Responsibility, reliability, and long-term thinking have always characterized not only my private life, but also my professional activities.
